Lynda Phoenix’s sound is diverse, influenced by global sounds, soul, jazz, funk and driven by upbeat vocals and bumpin’ afro beats. Her involvement in the London underground scene spans over two decades which gives credence to her educated selection of beats.

A longstanding and respected name in house music, Lynda’s eclectic taste has led her to work with artists from across the house, nu jazz and broken beat scene. Over the years she has played alongside a diverse range of artists includes Louie Vega, Atjazz, Kenny Dope, Jose Carretas, Kaidi Tatham, Robert Owens, Reel People, Ian Friday, Arnold Jarvis, DJ Disciple, Norman Jay, Simbad to name but a few.

Lynda’s sound was embraced by eclectic London record label Broadcite and is now part of their musical family and resident at their London parties.

Lynda Phoenix is also a well known figure head in the digital music industry. Previously managing download stores for Clickgroove, Xpressbeats and DJ Mag, she currently works as digital manager for leading house label Defected Records.

She has played internationally for the biggest brands in dance such as Ministry of Sound global events, Azuli, The Gallery and Masters at Work tour. She has played on Radio 1, Kiss FM, Choice and Push FM and was voted #47 in the Top 100 female DJ list.
